Although Chun-Li and Ryu may not be the absolute best team in the game, this is a great team for beginner players. Both characters have easy to perform combos and their move sets are those that will be recognized by any fighting game player.

Another easy to pick up and play team for beginners. Alex, although he has a hard time getting in on some characters, he has some very easy and powerful combos. His Hyper Combos are also very easy to perform and do a ton of damage or in the case of his Stungun Headbutt, leave his opponent open for more pain.

Ryu of course is what most players have come to know him as: a character with a standard move set and easy to perform combos to help new players jump into the game with ease.
