VEGA / CLAW - MOVES COMBOS & STRATEGY
CHARACTER INTRO
Vega is currently a character that takes a lot of work and patience to win with. Japanese player INO has said your best strategy is to try to time out the opponent, if that tells you anything.
He has some decent pokes and specials, but overall weak combos and no reliable way to pull off his Ultra to mount a come back.

Vega's so inferior weak in SFIV!
I've geeked Seth on hard with several chars but I'm unable to steal even half of Seth's health with Vega on easiest!!!
After Seth's Hakuretsukyaku Vega drops all of his equipment and even if you block low during his Tanden Engine, he can connect a triple Shoryuken after that.
Scarlet Terror is nearly impossible to perform due to charge up delay and comboing into it is hopeless cuz Seth counters every attack and Vegas pokes have just too low priority.
Flying Barcelona is punished with EX Shoyruken and Super and Ultra never connect.
HELP!
Why block seth's attacks?! Just use the back flip instead! ;) By doing this seth often leaves himself open for damage. After knocking seth down (or after you've been knocked down yourself) use the back flip and seth will miss his yoga punch or sonic boom, then just jump in and kick him (HK + cHK or do a combo if you are a more skilled player) then repeat the procedure! When doing this it is very easy to beat seth even at the hardest level, I even find Vega as the easiest character to beat seth with! =)
Honestly, I didn't have much of a problem with Seth as Vega. He might be physically weak, but he's tricky. The backslash is your friend... if you can work on your timing with the long and short versions you almost never need to block.
This guide however left out the Piece of Mercury (df+mk), the Cosmic Heel (df+hk) and both backslashes (KKK for short or PPP for long).
the thing with vega is he's not sagat, he can't go on an all out offensive, the whole match at least, the best thing to do is to get used to pulling off his moves at the right time, thats where playing against other players come in. Vega is my favorite character and i know how to use him pretty well. And for those of you who say vega is the worst character in the game, you're wrong, dan is.I've seen a couple of people who when you fight them you stare at the screen and say,"holy crap he's a beast."Just how it is.
His forward+MK (I belileve) is an overhead, his d/f+HK is a good launcher before another move (especially the EX Barcelona), his EX Sky High Claw goes through projectiles, and the LP Roll is fast while the stronger P's are slower with more hits. His MK and HK have nice range and his claws gives that extra half-foot, and being maskless makes him stronger (but takes damage more as well). I don't use charge characters much, due to the laggy charge commands (yeah, I buffer, but it confuses me of what I'm doing).
Much was left out.
