The DustLoop community translated an article from a Japanese blog that details many of the balance changes found in BlazBlue: Coninuum Shift II at the most recent -- and to my knowledge, first -- location test.
As most of you know, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is far more balanced than Calamity Trigger, but there are still some fairly lopsided match ups. In an attempt to remedy this, you'll see that there are plenty of nerfs all around to the majority of the cast. That said, Rachel fans should be pleased to find ARC System Works is trying to juice her up a bit to possibly get her back to her former glory. She is widely considered to be low tier at this point due to low damage output.
Keep in mind these are notes from a location test, so none of this is final, but it's still interesting to see the direction they are taking the game.
5D on grounded opponents no longer floats
3C is techable
5B>6A gattling is gone
Inferno Divider no longer has wall bounce
Belial edge doesn't bounce as high any more (can still follow up with a quick 5D)
