Full article after the break plus the embedded video interview.
If you are itching to see more character reveals for Marvel vs Capcom 3, this week's Tokyo Game Show will bring the goods. A recent tweet by Capcom Europe confirms that new reveals are on the way!
Tokyo Game Show this week. If i had to guess at the Capcom announcements I’d guess at 4 new games announced and some new MvsC3 characters.
Tokyo Game Show begins on September 16th. Any character hopes/guesses?
The game is looking pretty good! Keep in mind that these screenshots are actually larger than the screen resolution of the 3DS, so they will look much sharper on the system. When I get my 3DS this will be my first pick-up! Images after the break!
Here's what Ono had to say:
So, next leak Pic.... Rufus's new costume art!!
UPDATE: Alternate costume art for El Fuerte, Hakan and Abel. Check out the pics after the break!
Thanks to ASD for the tip!
If you havent seen the others yet, check them out:
wx4058 has uploaded two gameplay vids for Valkenhayn R. Hellsing, one of the characters that will be a part of the arcade update known as Continuum Shift II and will be added to the console version of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift via downloadable content. Both vids are from the arcade update. One vid has a nice clear view of the action while the other is partially obstructed by the players at the machine. This character looks hot! Check it out! Vids after the jump!
VesperArcade has created another great Super Street Fighter 4 tutorial video. The topics for this one are the "instant Tiger Knee" motion and "kara-throwing". The instant Tiger Knee motion allows you to perform air special moves almost instantly once you leave the ground while kara-throwing is a technique to extend the range of your throws. These concepts apply more to some characters than others. Check out the video after the jump!
Raoul sent in a new video from VIP2GAMING that demonstrates how to punish C. Viper's Burning Kick with an auto-correct Ultra from Balrog. This will definitely make C. Viper players second guess cross-up Burning Kicks once they see the Balrog player can pull this off. What do you guys think? Solid tactic or far too easy to bait and/or time? See how to pull this off after the break!
Desk is back with another bad ass combo video showcasing some fairly complex combos with a number of different characters. As an added bonus, he included a shot of the joystick so you can get a better idea what sort of timing these combos require. Once again, he includes some more combos performed with one hand as well! Video after the break!
Yoshinori Ono posted yet another tweet giving players a look at Ken's new alternate costume. If you look to the bottom right, you'll see that it appears to be his training outfit taken from Street Fighter Alpha 2.
Here is the accompanying text for the Tweet:
Well, I leak important information to follower! ;P Today Pic is KEN new costume. ;D

The first gameplay footage for Platinum the Trinity has surfaced. It's only a brief glimpse of the character in action, taken from a rolling trailer Arc System Works was running at the recent AM Show. Platinum the Trinity is the third new character to join Makoto and Valkenhayn as part of the arcade update to the game, called Continuum Shift II. Platinum will, like the previous two, be added to the console version via downloadable content on the console versions. Video after the jump, with Platinum's footage starting at 1:13.
In this thread you will find some of the many observations some players are making after they have played the arcade version of Super Street Fighter 4, which just went on location test in Japan. Keep in mind that these are observations. There may be some inaccuracies here and there.
Balance changes after the break. What do you think of them so far?
The first videos for the arcade location test of Super Street Fighter 4 in Japan are starting to come in. We are sure to see more of these over the weekend, so we're going to embed all videos we get wind of inside this article so that the front page isn't jammed with vids.
The first vid we've recieved is pretty poor quality but it's the first one and you can catch a glimse of something.
In a surprise to, well, pretty much no one, Yun and Yang have confirmed to be in Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition. A location test is currently underway, and beyond the confirmation of the two new characters, there are also reports of gameplay changes. According to a post on SRK, Yun's Super is Genei-Jin and both him and Yang have their target combos from Third Strike. Hakan has also allegedly received some buffs, with him now being able to "stack oil" and even combo into oil off of a standing light kick.
Oichi over at Versus City is also reporting than Zangief's EX Green Hand does not knock down. Also, arguably more surprising is that blocked Blanka Balls now recover half the distance that they used to, which will make it much easier for many characters to punish, not just Balrog and a few others. He also mentions that Juri's Fireballs now "combo naturally" though I'm not entirely sure what that means. Seth's Jumping Fierce Punch has also apparently been nerfed, but it's not clear by how much at this point.
Keep in mind that this is a location test, so none of these changes are final or 100% confirmed. We'll continue to post more information about this revised version of Super Street Fighter 4 as it comes through!
More reports are coming in via Twitter that day one Genei Jin combos for Yun are doing roughly 50% damage to the opponents life bar.
Yang also has an EX Teleport though its properties are unknown at this time. Probably invincibility of some sort!
Pro player Justin Wong dominates when he's behind a joystick but has met his match when it comes to driving. This is a clip from the WCG Ultimate Gamer reality show. Give the guy a break, though. He has no real-life driving experience, but it doesn't stop it from being funny.
Thanks to 00000000 for the tip!
The first batch of proper screenshots for Dead or Alive Dimensions has been released. The game is being developed for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS handheld. The graphics look pretty good, and look comparable to what you might find on Sony's PSP. It will be interesting to see how these graphics are further enhanced (or not) by the handheld's 3D capabilities.
Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Version Has Changed Considerably; Expect Announcements at Tokyo Game Show
The latest post on Capcom's official Super Street Fighter 4 developer blog has some exciting information pertaining to both the console and arcade versions of the game.
First of all, the alternate costumes that producer Yoshinori Ono has been tantalizing us via Twitter all this week will be shown at Tokyo Game Show next week. They will be shown running on actual arcade hardware. It seems likely that we will also get more specific details such as pricing and release timeframe as well.
Before TGS, however, Super Street Fighter 4 will be getting a second location test in Japan, this time in Osaka. The blog doesn't confirm the presence of new characters in this version, but it does say that the game has changed considerably from the last location test version...
