« E3 2014: Prototype Models Of Hori's Real Arcade Pro Sticks For Xbox One & PlayStation 4 »

Hori is at E3 showing off their next generation editions of the Real Arcade Pro series.

Prototype builds of Hori's RAP for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are available for viewing at the company's booth. Unlike Hori's RAP V4 Hayabusa stick released in Japan, these prototype models show an evolved form of the V3/VX body.

The control panel, featuring home and select buttons, has been moved from the top area to the right side's handles. In addition to the side handles returning, another handle found on the sticks' rear end are also included. The Taito Vewlix layout still remains and Hori's Haybusa and Kuro parts are featured in these prototype models. The PlayStation 4 version will include a special touch panel similar to that found on Sony's Dual Shock 4 controllers.

There is currently no information regarding the release of these models so stay tuned! The RAP V4 Hayabusa will be available in North America at the end of the year. You can find the pictures over at Arcade Shock's Facebook (Xbox One, PlayStation 4 [1, 2])!
