A batch of new Street Fighter x Tekken iOS screenshots were released today featuring the latest additions to the portable roster, King and Hugo. These screenshots also reveal a few gameplay mechanics that are much different than what you're used to seeing in the console version of the game.
First off is the "Gem Roulette" system where after you launch your opponent, a random Gem will activate. This is obviously much different from equipping Gem's and having them activate under various circumstances like in the console version.
Next is your "Partner Gauge" which acts as a pseudo-life bar for your sub-character. As your secondary character takes damage, the bar will deplete, and once it's empty you'll be forced to switch back to your main character.
