« 3rd Strike: Online Edition Developer Iron Galaxy Discusses Next Patch At UFGT8 »

Chicago is not only the home of the Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament series but also developer Iron Galaxy who made Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition. The eigth iteration of UFGT8 brought the developer to talk about the future of the game.

Since the release of 3SOE, the more dedicated fans of the game expressed complaints including user interface issues, glitches, online matchmaking and claiming it's not "arcade perfect" as advertised. Dave Lang and his team talked about 3SOE including topics such as development and the future of the product with a patch to help fix various problems in the game.

Lang expressed on Shoryuken that there will be no rebalancing to the existing game. After contacting Iron Galaxy's Twitter (@ItotheG), they responded that they have gathered a list of complaints and suggestions from multiple forums and their contact email. A recording of the entire panel should be available ASAP.

What are your suggestions that Iron Galaxy should do to help "iron" out 3SOE?

Besides the obvious fixes to the game, I hope to see the original arcade music return along with the original in-match HUD. I also hope that there are smoother music transitions, have the New Generation and 2nd Impact music DLC not restart after every round and support 4:3 aspect ratio for higher resolutions (non-widescreen).
