Many of you probably saw our recent list pulled from Arcadia Magazine that contained the top 10 most popular arcade fighting games in Japan for the month of April. On that list was a game I saw quite a bit of while I was out there: Dragonball Zenkai Battle Royale. The concept of the game seemed pretty straight forward as you control and attack with various Dragonball characters using a 5-button joystick layout.
According to Andria Sang (via V Jump Magazine), the game is going to receive an update come mid-July that adds Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Trunks to the roster. It's also said to receive a story mode and some updates to the gameplay system.
Also, what's an update to a Japanese arcade fighter without some wacky extended title? The updated title for the game is: Dragonball Zenkai Battle Royale Super Saiyan Awakening. Whoa.
