If you seen Sako play recently on streams, he was trying out Hori's newest toy: the Fighting Edge.
Japanese gaming site 4Gamer got to take a look at it more and revealed some new info on what's featured in the stick itself. The Fighting Edge will feature Hori's own proprietary lever and buttons respectively titled Hayabusa and Kuro.
The LED touch panel on the right is also elaborated. Along with start, select and guide/home presses, there is also a special feature that allows the stick to go into a mode that disables most of the necessary touch features. Players can also assign custom button layouts and save them for future use. In addition to having a cable compartment, the Fighting Edge also seem to feature another area for a cleaning rag that comes with the stick. The stick also features a special non-slip bottom mat similar to that of Qanba/Eightarc sticks.
Judging by rough translations, the sticks should be available in May with preorders available now (possibly in Japan only). It's asking price is about 19,800 Yen (converted to ~$250). If you want to see more info and pictures, check it here!
