« TTT2: Console Release Slated for September, Exclusive Characters & Game Modes »

During a Namco Bandai press conference today, Tekken Producer Katsuhio Harada announced some new details on the console release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The game is now set for a September launch date -- even though the version at the event was only 10% complete  -- and will include console exclusive characters and new modes.

The console version will build upon the latest arcade revision, Tekken Unlimited Tag Tournament 2, with the ability to play 1v1, 1v2, 2v2, pair play and so forth. "Fight Lab" was one of the new console modes to be revealed which is meant to help beginners learn the game and provide challenges to more advanced players as well.

FilthieRich mentioned a new trailer for the game will be hitting the web soon so keep an eye out for that.

What do you guys think so far? Hype for new characters or would you rather have a direct port of the arcade version? What characters would you like to see appear in the console version fo the game? Hit the comments and let us know!
