« EVO 2011 Skullgirls Side Tourney: Semifinals and Grand Finals Video and New Blog Entry with EVO Impressions »
With all the hype and drama of the main stage games, it's easy to miss that EVO also has a ton of side tournaments dedicated other games. One of these side tournaments was dedicated to Reverge Labs' upcoming 2D fighting game Skullgirls (coming later this year as a DLC title)! Below you will find video of the Semifinals and Grand Finals matches. Unfortunately they are not direct feed videos, but the quality is good enough that you can still see what is going on.
A new blog entry on the Skullgirls website has also been published. This one gives EVO 2011 impressions by several staffers. Check that out here. Now, onto some gameplay!

Maybe it's just me but it seems like matches take forever to end. I know ti's still a beta version of the game but it takes a long time for anyone to win.
I have to say though it's looking very good gameplay-wise and style-wise it doesn't look like any other fighter out there. Kudos to Mike Z and the other guys working on this.
Yeah but this is a game where nobody has real experience with it. As people get to know the game's systems, and especially combos, the game will be faster. They can do more damage per combo, etc. Im very excited for this game tho. Looks great and they are taking their time it seems, which is a good sign.
So excited to play this game. Really hope that Reverge can set up a direct feed during future SG exhibitions. <3 Cerebella!
