One of the biggest surprises to come out of NCR9 was Daigo Umehara MCZ's debut in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Many people figured he would be saving all his MVC3 technology for EVO, but he decided to unleash it this past weekend, playing a team of Wolverine, Dante and Akuma. Give it just a little longer folks, and Daigo will be God at MvC3 as well. But big ups to Lamberboi and Floe though.
Anyone else think the commentators are the real scrubs they don't say anything useful they talk shit and I don't ever hear their names mentioned at anything important it's always the same two people too......they should really just stop talking honestly they are what make gamers look like poor sports and flaming douche bags.

@pasty whites: I don't care for most stream commentators either- a lot of them don't have any charisma and don't hype things up which I think is real fun and adds a lot to the stream! Particularly, I can't stand Skisonic. But I'm not complaining as there needs to be some competent commentary, and they aren't really hurting the stream.
Yipes and Dogface are amazing though, its always a treat to hear them on the mic! They're funny and knowledgeable, and get me really hyped. Good for replays and memorable moments. "So close to stun! So close to stun!" If I knew Yipes was going to be on the stream, I'd be way more likely to tune in for his commentary.

Personally I like most of the commentary that the fighting game community has to offer. Any MVC game is hard to do commentary on because of the fast paced action. By the time they comment, its over and the next thing happens. I thought they did a great job and the shit talking is part of the community...who doesn't love hearing about salty wounds and fuck ups? lol
