« Skullgirls to Have Tournament-friendly Features »

Entertainment site LA Weekly has provided some E3 coverage for one of the show's hidden gems, Reverge Labs' Skullgirls. Their story extols Skullgirls as possibly the "next big fighting game." In it, Mike Z. teases a special Tournament Mode that would streamline console tournies, bringing them closer to the good old-fashioned arcade experience. Hit the jump for details!

Tournament mode prompts players to set their buttons before a match. The mode also prohibits pausing, eliminating DQ anxiety for players (and interpretive dancers like Juicebox) everywhere.

Cool feature not being able to pause during the match! If I recall correctly, this was supposed to be in HDR but wasn't implemented because of bureaucracy...
