Northeast Championship (NEC XII) will take place the third and fourth of December on Philadelphia, PA. Two of the new events are the first Soul Calibur 5 tournament in America, and the first post-release Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in America.

Games/versions that will be making their first appearance (post-release, with the exception of Soul Calibur 5) at a major tournament in the US:

• Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
• King of Fighters XIII
• Soul Calibur 5
• Tekken Tag Tournament 2

There are also several games that will be having their last appearance at a major tournament in the US, as new versions are imminent:

• Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition (the ver.2012 update comes out on consoles the week after NEC)
• BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2 (the PS3/X360 version of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is due in December)
• Melty Blood: Actress Again (the PC version of Melty Blood: Current Code is scheduled for release in late December)
