This announcement may follow a number of leaks, but that doesn't really make this announcement any less exciting. In an exclusive reveal from Eurogamer, Sentinel and Hsien-Ko have been officially confirmed for Marvel vs Capcom 3, videos, screenshots and all. You can check out all six gameplay videos as well as screenshots for both characters over at Eurogamer.

I always had a strong gut feeling Hsien-Ko would make it to this game, I'm right fucking glad they did. And I suppose a MvC game would be incomplete without Sentinel, he was god-mode in 2.
Yes! Only thing keeping me from buying is the lack of gruesome two some: Cable and BB Hood.

From what I have seen from the Sentinel game play he no longer is flinch proof from the 1st hit. Now I hope it will be super easy to abuse his large hitbox for well deserved infinites on him.

Hsien-ko is a fantastic addition to the game. Sentinel looks like a beast, and I'm not exactly sure that's a good thing.
Hitstun Decay in MvC3 = No infinites
Yawn, to terrible characters. Jedah, Demetri, Bastian, M.Bison and basically anyone from Rival Schools would have been better.
Also, I didn't notice a level 3 for either of them.
Damn sent ain't got super armor anymore, or chip damaging normals. Kinda disappointing, since those were some of the things i really liked about him but w/e.
It looks like they slowed Sentinel down, but he still looks like a zoning beast and a powerhouse. He may have been nerfed a little to make sense being added to this game, but other characters don't have infinites anymore and I always liked to think of that as the natural balance to Sentinel.
Cable will be added to the roster any minute now..
My girlfriend loves Hsien-Ko from puzzle fighter (she's only vaguely aware Hsien-Ko actually fights as a day job).
This game's purchase just got easier--BOOYAH.
I would have rather seen Sentinal Mk.IV or even better Nimrod.
And every Vsavior character is a girl?! Shoulda had Talbain or Demitri.

Yes!!! I knew Hsien-Ko is going to show up! And who is that weird bulky robot? Sentiel? What a waste of character slots. Megaman should be in, not Sentiel. P.S. WESKER RULES!
I love the way Hsien-Ko plays. Has a lot of options for playstyle it seems. Plus she's cute as heck. Sentinel, who I already don't like for being nameless nobody enemy useful only for fodder for the X-Men, still looks like he hasn't been balanced out enough for this game even with the small changes. Still looks like he's going to be a massively dangerous addition to a whole lot of people's teams. Takes people out in almost no time at all. But eh, what do I know? Maybe we'll see people stomping his face in on future videos. Dormammu and Ammy sure looked beast when I first saw them but they've both mellowed out since then. I'll try to stay optimistic about him. :/
I didn't see it in any of the videos, but I'm pretty sure that Sentinel w/lvl.3 x-factor is going to give me stress nightmares... Hsien-Ko looks like she has some pretty solid mixups, and being able to chain supers isn't too bad either.
Hmm. I'm going to sound really dumb or unobservant, but swapping in a character doesn't get rid of red health in MvC3?
Sentinel. Oh Christ. At least he seems a little slower than MvC2 version. And Lei Lei! Hell yeah
Sentinel still gives me nightmares, so I was hoping he wouldn't be in this game, but I knew he would. Pumped for Hsien-Ko.

If hisenkos super hits overhead imagine the possibilities I wonder if her reflect projectile beats Dooms or iron mans laser beam.The gong itself can be a big part of her game play vs all the projectile characters hope she gets it as a assist.
This made me smile a little bit. Only because of the returning Sicily. Sentinel is the exact same as his Marvel 2 counter-part just like Doom and Magnus but toned down. Upper mid tier definitely. He's pretty basic and easy to use now. He's good but he isn't as stupid as he was in Marvel 2. The fact that Sentinel doesn't have that hit armor in this game (like the Hulk) makes a huge difference. He can't launch, combo, infinite and kill for free without worrying about anything anymore. Now you actually have to be careful of your actions and can't just press buttons. Basically, it's "balanced" just like everything else in the game so far.
Hsien-Ko was exactly like I expected; not too good, not too bad. I think Hsien-Ko was a random and bad choice. Out of all the characters that needed to be in there like Mega Man and Strider, they put in a third Darkstalkers character and one that isn't even nearly as popular. Right now she looks around mid tier because I need to see more of that shield move, air walk air dash and HC follow-up / mix-ups in action. I think she could possibly be a fun character to use if you know how to use all of her tools and basically know more than the basics with her. We will see later on.
Ok, I have to say this: I see people cry about strider all the time. Who actually played either of his games? Who the hell even KNOWS who he is aside from marvel vs. capcom nerds?
@ DoomTN: I've played both Strider games back in the day. Strider 2 was sick as hell on PlayStation. Actually now that I think about it, fuck Strider Hiryu; they need to put Strider Hien in Marvel 3.
