« Super Street Fighter 4 makes IGN's list of top 25 PS3/360 Games »

Over the past few weeks, IGN released a list of their top 25 games for both Playstation 3 and XBOX 360 -- Super Street Fighter IV made the cut for both lists! The game came in at number 25 on the 360 side and number 15 on the PS3 side. It's also worth noting that the iPhone version of Street Fighter 4 ranked number 23 on their top 25 games for iPhone.

PS3 VERSION

Greg: How do you improve on one of the best fighting games ever made? Add "Super" to the title. OK, well, maybe there's more to it than that, but Street Fighter IV was already great, so adding 10 new characters and a bunch of bells and whistles to make Super Street Fighter IV only sweetens the deal. The art is still fantastic, the online is better than ever, and the gameplay is still simple enough to jump in and have a blast with but deep enough to sink months of your life into mastering.

XBOX 360 VERSION

Nate: When Street Fighter IV broke onto the scene it reinvigorated the entire fighting genre for me. Super Street Fighter IV was like playing Street Fighter IV on steroids. It included everything that I knew and loved from SFIV, but added in a wonderfully overhauled online mode and many of the characters that I wanted in the original, making for a massive cast of 35 combatants. If you were even slightly interested in Street Fighter IV, but thought the fighting genre couldn't possibly appeal to you after all these years, then you owe it to yourself to venture into the battles offered by Super Street Fighter IV. You will not be disappointed.
