I'd like to throw out a good luck to Haunts, Crackfiend, Magus1234 (especially if his pool is still a pool of death), Keits, and all the NeoGAF peeps who are going!!

I heard over 4000 players for Super. Is that true???? OMG if it is. Was expecting between 1 and 2000. :D

July 9, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterShowTime

I read that too but I don't want to post anything until I get official numbers. If its true, it's absolutely incredible. If its true, how can competitive fighting gaming not be taken more seriously as a sport? I mean if competitive CUP STACKING gets on one of the ESPN channels... and not this??

Good luck to OneHandedTerror!!!

July 9, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAirMaster

I don't know if it's the hotel's internect connection or just too many people watching, but the stream lags every 10 seconds or so.

the ncr stream is much better

Thanks for those results, DJCream!

Also, the Super participant numbers initially were, as suspected, way off. It's in the 1,500 to 1,800 range, which is still great.

Hella good matches so far.

July 10, 2010 | Registered CommenterFuriousRGD

has this been updated yet? I thought ed ma was still in losers by the end of the stream last night?... last guys he beat were marn and thai vega or something.

July 11, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterlooks like

So happy that i got my new computer right before evo started. Been a great event, and i have missed IPW! good stuff on top 32, and top is going to be godlike hype

July 11, 2010 | Registered CommenterSpiron

Reliable stream for the most part but terrible when it counted. Crashed during one of the final matches in ssf4 top 8 AND on the grand finals. Also crashed during other important matches throughout the weekend. You should be ashamed of this levelUp, StickAm and G4. I understand it'a all free, but realize that your image to the community is on the line.

July 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJuri_han

2 things ipw is missing at this very moment. A great post on the epic fail of evo ssf4 grand finals stream (arguaby the climax of what 95+% of people were there to watch) , and...another podcast! Am I the only one that thinks it's been way too long :(

July 11, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterhere we go

That was an amazing Evo with a disappointing finish.

9 out of 10 polished nails for everybody involved!

July 11, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterhans

I was at evo but heard about the crashes of the stream and the horrible commenting, next time IPW should be allowed to handle the stream, not leveldown

July 12, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSLVRNBLK

Does anyone know where to find the redrapper song that played before the finals? The one over the Cody theme.

July 12, 2010 | Unregistered Commentersnorf

yeah, where can we find the rap from that fat indian kid so we can burn it and never have to subject anyone to it again. WTF.
