A couple new photos from Japanese gaming mag Famitsu showed up today showcasing a handful of Marvel vs Capcom 3 screens. Although the screens on these pictures are kind of grainy, it's not hard to see that the graphics in Marvel vs Capcom 3 are a huge leap over Tatsunoko vs Capcom even if they share a somewhat similar style. The characters and backgrounds appear so detailed they may even give Super Street Fighter 4 a run for it's money in the graphics department.

If you missed our recap of the new characters and additions to Marvel vs Capcom 3, you can click here to check it out.

I can not wait to see this game in motion! I dont think the screenshots are doing it justice.

Oh my God, please tell me they didn't replace Morrigan's "Soul Eraser" Hyper Combo with "Finishing Shower" like they did in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Finishing Shower is wack.

This game is going to roxxorz muh boxxorz

seriously though, those screenshots (even grainy and small) just look great. I'm loving the look of the game already, and the stage designs are already 10x as good as the generic ones in MvC2.

I took a closer look at the screenshots and the shading on both Hulk and Wolverine tell me its going to be a pretty sick looking game with a lot of detail, but like Scoooorn said, we will have to wait until we see it in motion.

anyone know if this is confirmed to show up at E3 outside of the trailer we've all seen by now?

@haunts: I think I remember one of the early news sources saying there'd be some playable build at E3 (and probably Comic-con as well). Either way, the wait is gonna be brutal.

Thanks for the tip!

These character models are looking beautiful. I'm glad that this game separates itself giving it it's own identity in that sense. As opposed to back in the day where sprites were recycled. But really we should appreciate this kind of stuff as it's being made from the ground up and also taking advantage of next gen capabilities. The effects are looking great as well. I can't wait to see how the models react upon the lighting situations. You can already see with the screenshot on the right how Chris' model is being influenced by the light from the fireworks in the stage.

@ haunts

Playable at E3 has been confirmed. And I don't think there's any doubt this game will be gorgeous--it's running off the same graphics engine as RE5, which was no ugly game. I really, really can't wait to see this game in action.

Just in case anyone wants to see good versions of these pictures. This months Game Informer has almost all the same shots in it.

And Finishing Shower is totally wack. I want my Soul Eraser!!

I'm keeping a reserved point of view with this game. I know this doesn't have anything to do with the fighting game genre but if Capcom does to this game what they did to Lost Planet 2, then were all in for a "not-so-awesome" surprise.

@overlordstrider "if Capcom does to this game what they did to Lost Planet 2"

Care to elaborate?

1. Frame Rate Issues
2. Balancing issues
3. A.I. Issues (obviously for single player mode)
4. Lack of innovation
5. Horrible voice acting
6. Baffling design choices that will make your head explode

Now, please keep in mind what I said in my last post: "I know this doesn't have anything to do with the fighting game genre..."

I was merely speaking on Capcom's ability to either make a really REALLY good game (Street Fighter IV and a ton of others) to making a really REALLY shitty game (LP2, Dark Void) ....

what im afraid of is with the 3d graphics the characters seem "unatural" in the way they stand and move... kinda like in tatsu vs capcom.

Hopefully cacpom releases a demo like they did with HD remix and mvc2. Come on make it happen!

Oh man, this game looks incredible. If playable at E3 is confirmed, I can't wait. They better have announced more characters and have them playable come E3.

Also, the art style for this game is just sick. I have a feeling there will be sensory overload when it comes to fan-service.

So far as feather gadgets are worried, there are lots of several styles of jewels, honestly a lot more versions approach gulls in the atmosphere. Several work with different types of parrot set to create extremely exclusive arrangements regarding styles in addition to colour styles within sizing's which might be unrivaled. If you want toOwlsneek consider one’s design, along that feather jewels might be modified. Certainly your own taste is actually a little more careful; you might pick a 4 in . longer feather earring certainly containing peacock in addition to hackle.
