IGN posted up their Daily Fix video moments ago, and they have the first look at the final character for Super Street Fighter 4, Hakan! The clip starts at 1 minute in and they mention a full trailer will be up on IGN soon.

This guy is so goofy, his moves dont look interesting at all, what a waste of a character slot.
Hakan is just awesome! I wasn't expecting that at all. XD I really wanna pick him up simply because of how hilarious he is. Hopefully it'll work out for me.

This may be the dumbest character design I've seen in any fighting game. Straight outta looney tunes. I can't wait for SSF4 2, featuring Yosemite Sam.
fking stupid.... I totally agree with 'waste of a character slot' thank god the 3S characters are in at least. Funny thing is, I wanted another serious character as opposed to a joke char, but at least if the joke was FUNNY it would be something. I'm at a complete loss how some people are actually finding that lame goofy trailer/character funny... same people that think American Dad is funny?
I don't see him as a joke, more like a way to add insult to injury to whoever I fight against.
But hey, opinions are opinions, and I respect them.
Second ultra looks like an anti-jump/anti-air ultra. But who knows.

To all the naysayers: you can't say a character's a joke simply from a trailer. For all you know, a Hakan player could win EVO this year (fingers crossed). Maybe Daigo will pick him up.
Anyway, I'm glad Capcom decided to add a gay Turkish pedophile wrestler. Too many of my gay Turkish pedophile friends couldn't find a character they liked in SF4.
He has eight children, he's not gay.

Alot of the SF characters are as weird as this guy if you look at it from a distance.
Dhalsim? Blanka? Zangief is a funny version of a sowjet wrestler, so is Hakan, but for turkish oil wrestling.
Stop taking this game so seriously, because it never was serious to begin with.
@DAFAMX; As SPIRON pointed out it's probably a Counter Ultra. In the gameplay footage of him against Juri I saw he attack him before his Ultra activated. Her foot slipped off him, and everything.
Hilarious character with his moves and stuff. Very "WTF" kind of unpredictable style as far as I can tell from what little we see so far. I can kinda dig the red skin with all that oil and all, but his hair is ridiculous. Like a bright aqua version of the Matrix's Niobe. I'm hoping for a good alt costume.
@HANS: I'm being sarcastic, not serious (I thought that was obvious). I'm lovin Hakan so far; one thing I love about SF is the over-the-top characters with awesome personalities. Hakan looks like he fits that description beautifully.

Umm, to some this game is very serious, at least in battle. I'm a little skeptical...I mean, I don't hate him but I don't think he should be in either. There's just too much oil. He's so shinny it kind of detracts from the battle at hand(guess that's what they were aiming for). The only thing I remember from the trailer is his bloody oil...okay that's a bit of an exaggeration, but doesn't CAPCOM think that this may offend some real Turkish oil wrestlers(or just people of Turkish descent for that matter). In a way it degrades them by making sexual/homo/pedo "implications" which is a wrong move IMO...wish we had some other beast character like Juri. Oh well, You win sum and you lose some.
If they add the wacky Looney Tunes to the actual gameplay, he's my new main.
Ignoring Hakan for the moment, this needs to be said about Chobot:

sorry, I didn't view the Hakan vs Juri video until after I posted that, I have high hopes that it's a counter jump ultra, I mean juri is the only one with a custom combo ulrta, so why can't he be the only one with a anti jump ultra? Seeing as he's a grappler, that would add a TON of pressure to the opponent knowing that a good Hakan player can easily punish any attempt at jumping. And being a grappler, I'm guessing he wants his opponent on the ground.

There is a lot of debate on this character. I'm all for him I think he's a great addition. Reasons being a character from a NEW country like Juri, having a very unique design, and having a VERY unique fighting style. How many oil wrestlers are in fighting games?? It isn't the first thing that comes to mind in development. This fool ain't just a BEAST, he's GREAST!!! After watching the Hakan vs. Juri vid he's pretty quick, probably a grappler who can be on par with Abel? That's what I've been guessing for awhile.

Come on, really?!? You guys DIDN'T see the new guy being a joke?!? Half the NEW cast (NEW meaning the 4 cast NOT 3S/Alpha) are joke characters and the other half story driven. Rufus for example, a complete joke personality wise, who's a top character. *Indeed everyone is entitled to their own opinion.*
But everyone should be happy the wait of revealing these characters is over. Now we play the other waiting game. WAITING FOR THE RELEASE!!!!

when I said joke character, I just meant in the way they portray him, not in his effectiveness. Now- I'm going to go ahead and guess that nobody is going to be winning evo with him- but that is admittedly speculation.
But come on- yes, we all know that in general the game is not that 'serious'- there's a lot of cultural caricatures and of course fire uppercuts and hadokens aren't real fighting moves...that's a given. But within the universe of the game, these moves are treated seriously- not like over the top wonky jokes. When you uppercut someone, they don't spin in place like a pinwheel and then get "x" over their eyes when they die. If all of a sudden a SF game came out and ALL the moves were treated like that, I'm pretty sure people would be like "WTF, that doesn't fit", not "oh well, the game was never serious". Everyone's got their opinion, and maybe some peoples line of what is out of character for the game will be different- but for me personally, I think one joke character was enough, I was looking forward to more serious stuff in the game. I guess I should just be thankful Fuerte doesn't crack an egg over your head, and saute you in a frying pan for his ultra...
Come on people really, you are going to get upset over this? How many freaking oddball characters have their been in SF. A ton. SF has always had the off the wall shit to go along with the subtle character design.
We have people who blast off fireballs of life energy, a man who uses "Psycho power". A sumo wrestler who can move his hands so fast that they become a blur. Oh ! and a girl who is a clone of a dude. [cammy back story] The whole damn cast is Japanese insane and i mean that in a most loving way. Fact is if you look at Hakan he looks like a member of the SF cast. I look forward to seeing him online.

Lol, who's upset? You don't have to be upset to think this guy is a really stupid design. I mean, beyond any other character in the SF universe stupid. His moveset and humor boils down to "oil is slippery, dur hur hur."
What's entertaining though, is how far sf4 people will bend over backwards to pat capcom on the back and defend this lousy character. I think we have new mascot for sf4.
I think its a silly character, but im not interested in him and i see other people are. Im not gonna be playing with him, unless its casuals at my house or something. I see people playing with him and using him just like rufus. I wonder whats his backstory, since he seems to be red and looks more like a robot with that thing on his head.. That doesnt look like hair.. He also has little children like things around him and idk if anyone else noticed it, but a girl seems to be standing behind him. When its intro-ing him with the drawn pic. I did expect more of a seth character.. More serious.. but its cool.

This complaining about Hakkan not being a "serious" character is pretty ridiculous. I mean, a pugilist aristocrat with a handlebar mustache who throws roses is BADASS, but this oil wrestler isn't "serious" enough for ya? C'mon.
This is Street Fighter guys. It has and always will be filled with characters who're all about personality--they are characters in every sense of the word.
Look at KOF and Tekken for example. Their character designs (generally) emphasize a "cooler" more "serious" approach...and that's it. They all just look cool, and act cool, and they all end up having this homogenized personality of "coolness". It's boring. It's uninteresting. It's uninspired. It's what you get when everybody defaults to "cool".
This is Street Fighter, where bald guys who wear skull necklaces with stretchy arms, effeminate assassins, and military guys with physics defying flat tops kick each other's ass with fucking STYLE.
And yes, I'm digging Hakan.
Zzzzzz that's what I think about IMO I think Rufus and Dan were enough with the joke characters hell I take el fuerte more serious than this dude he looks corny and his ultras are gay too smh capcom I'm getting the game but I'm dissapointed in your new character. After looking at both the trailer and the game play against Juri, Hakan looks like a pretty interesting character. It looks like it maybe possible to combo the move in which he squeezes you out his arms with the move in which he slides on the floor. It looks like the light, medium, and heavy of the first move just causes the character to land farther away from Hakan. Also, it looks like you can chain the move in which he slides on the floor with his super. Also, the move in which he slides on the floor is a move he can probably use to evade projectiles. As stated earlier, his counter ultra seems to be anti-air/anti-jump which is good for a wresting character. The only move that I am not sure about is the move in which he pours more oil on himself. It may be a setup for a specific move or it may increase the damage of his squeeze grabs or increase his speed when he slides on the floor. All of this is speculation at this point, in the coming weeks we should know more about his move sets.
Monstergogo- did you just compare dudly to hakan to make a point about joke characters?! lol, I think you're the one who needs to 'c'mon' with that one... Opinions aside, when you talk about joke characters, i'm not sure one person in here would consider dudley to be on the same level as a clearly joke character like Dan, or Hakan... I don't know how the point is so clearly slipping by people when they counter with that stuff about street fighter already having unrealistic stuff in it. Like I already said, we all know that burning uppercuts, fireballs, and monsters with electricity aren't real stuff- but they have always been presented in what was for the most part a serious way. Oiling someone up, thrwoing them up in the air and then them just sliding around your body and up your arm? How is that even an attack?! The only things about rufus that are a joke are really the characters backstory/personality, and the fact that he's fat- but none of that humor is part of his gameplay. He doesn't throw you up in the air, bounce you off his belly, and finish off a turkey while waiting for you to come down. He actually strikes you. Rufus is probably one of the WORST characters you could use for comparison, because in actual gameplay his moves and fighting style are pretty slick.
I can agree with the whole opinion's are opinions thing for people that see another joke character as something fun, and don't care if it goes more over the top than usual, but for people who want to say he's not a joke character, or those crazy ultras are no more over the top than old SF characters (especially dudley!)- I just don't get how anyone can honestly make that connection...
I think Capcom must've been pretty desparate to come up wit ha character such as Hakan. I still would have gotten kicks if they added someone from the Street Fighter EX Series

@BLKN3KO He's similar to Darun IMO and it was stated on the rumors as well. Even Darun had that LOL pelvic thrust move!!! Ok maybe they could have given Hakan like a cool slam but he doesn't.
We got 9 other "cool" characters to go with. We're at home stretch!!! Isn't the wondering just a weight of your shoulders. =)
