Man, this made my day! Absolutely hilarious!!! =D A great job by Capcom! I really don't mind the cartoony twist to the whole game... I love it!

The slippery sound effects and the butt-launch ultra are hilarious!

This character just looks like he'd be a blast to play. What a great addition to the game! He's so unique! It's just what the game needs, another unique character. I know he's not as serious as other characters but I like him a ton. This game can't come soon enough.

Yeah I love his movements and sound effects! It's all so wierd and... oily. Lots of slopping noises lol! And the grab where he hugs the opponent and they pop out of the hug into the air and land on the other side of the screen... lol!

He can probably follow up that throw with his slide move, hopefully combo-able (maybe EX slide).

A lot of people have mentioned how his second Ultra shown (the one where he oils himself up and lays down on the ground...eventually "pooping" them out :D ) looks like a counter.

I'm not so sure. I keep watching it, and I'm not seeing Zangief throw out any attack or anything. It looks like they just have to land on him or something--which would be pretty cool, actually. If that's the case, seems like he'd be able to combo into it pretty easily. But I could be wrong on this observation. (edit: I just read Mr. Wizard's article that confirmed this)

I also find it interesting that this guy really only works with the game's 3-D engine, what with the oily effects and shiny visual cues. I don't think we'd ever have seen a 2-D Hakan. I wonder if that was part of his appeal for the design team?

@Monstergogo I think they really wanted to experiment with the particle effects in 3DS Max. I remember Seth saying something about that or that may have been for SF4. There being fire already, there hasn't been anything liquid in the game. It looks great especially on his match intro. I also agree this sort of thing wouldn't sell as great in 2-D. I'm not sure how the second Ultra works either. I didn't really see Zangief attack but who knows. Just gotta wait for more news on him.

Visual cues confirm MONSTERGOGO`s claims (and Mr. Wizard`s annotation over on SRK), the opponent merely needs to land on Hakan for the move to execute.

I was right! it is an anti-jump ultra! For a grappler, thats exactly what they need.

Can someone say pressure?

And i cant stop lol'ing when Hakan shoots himself with his own ultra... Lol!

Anti jump ultra. That my friends is freaking sick. His damage seems kind of low but looks like he has a lot of little tricks. BTW the oil noises are 100% pure awesome, and i love the looks on every ones faces as they get oiled up and ejected from his rear.

......... what an odd sentence.

Dude wears a shower cap when he fights?
