NEW STREET FIGHTER 4 CHUN-LI INFINITE

Error0001 put together a video showcasing a new infinite for Chun-Li in response to SonicHurricane.com's Combo Challenge 07. He mentioned in the description that this works on Chun because she leans back so far when hit, so it takes longer for each fireball to connect.

Obviously this is not something you will ever see in a real match and it's tool assisted, but these combo videos are always fun to watch.

Here is the original Combo Challenge video posted by SonicHuirricane.com

Thanks to UC1 on NeoGAF for pointing out the Chun-Li infinite video!

Dope! Not only is it interesting because it's an infinite but because it sounds like it's character specific thing. Those are my favorite type of combos :) Stuff like the Akuma round house loop or his lk tatsu to sweep even! OR! What's not a combo but character specific is the dope Ryu v Gen glitch I found out and posted in my FADC thread on the forums!

These tool assisted vids are getting old imo. -_-

I like TACV -- it's a good way to pass the time while I wait for super. I feel live I've already seen all the "normal" combos and set ups in SF4. :P

Wow, Shway! Awesome forum post, I'm browsing right now and my eyes might just pop out at my screen ^^
The more you know, man... :)

Hmm, can someone explain what exactly "tool assisted" is?

Does it mean the hit stun last longer? Or the range of attacks?

    IS THAT AN IFINITIE??????

@DAFAMX Tool assisted refers to using a program to input combos making timings and situations happen (like certain moves trading allowing further comboing). Like in this combo, it seems to me it's only possible to get the fireballs into that combo with exact timing on charging back and pressing forward and punch to cancel into it. That's what I think it means at least :P havn't messed around it but I'm pretty sure it can only be used on the PC version of SF.

@KAIII XD Thanks :D It's not the most useful stuff but it might help out!

    @SHWAY

So then... A program is doing this? not the creator of the vid him/herself?

I guess, like I said I'm not too clear on how they work but the tools at least make it easier to pull things off. So like a programmable controller that you can set buttons to be multiple inputs (like a button to do the hadouken motion) it's a person pushing the buttons but it's the program inputing the motions

I do it on the pc version but it's possible on consoles
most combo videos are tool assisted but most people aren't as up front about it as I am
If you'd like to know more about what's involved maj wrote an article about it awhile back
