Just when you thought the "Beast" himself couldn't impress you more, this new video released today shows Daigo up against some high level players in Japan (including Mago) and what does he do? Bodies them of course.
Watch how Daigo uses Ryu's standing jab to stuff moves. I don't think I've ever seen that before. I'm very impressed.

man, why did capcom take way far lk poke cancel from Sagat. Did you guys see that? Its way better than doing naked fireballs or tiger knees :(

As much as i am not a Sagat fan i really think they should have not taken away anything sept damage i always found it fun play shotos (being a balrog player) lk poke is one of the one best things he had.

The jab was sick to stuff attacks but I was loveing the low mk in response to the tiger knees! Idk if that's common but I havn't seen it before!

agreed. Taking away cancelable far st.lk is really bullshit. Mago uses it alot. It was the only good poke poor sagat had against invading (non jump-in) shoto's like that daigo guy. Seems like capcom doesnt even know it's own game lol
wow didnt think daigo was on this night after watching him get massacred by sagat the first rounds i thought he wouldnt do any better. good to know all you Ryu users can copy and paste all the new stuff Daigo does, although standing jab probbly works for all chars.

and for the lk cancel I dont know why they would do that. Should of just left the solid characters untouched or nerf their ultra combo damage more and make everyone else have some solid features.

OMG that was incredible. That combo he used to on Rufus was just sick. And yeah, just standing jabs he was stuffing a lot of moves. Very interesting.

wow his ryu is mastered flawless execution he seemed bored and lost track of the himself and still beat Sagat he is a true beast the nerfs may hurt his Ryu

s.lp in footsies and cr.mk to counter TKs aren't really all that new... He, as well as many other Ryu, have been doing that for a long, long time now.
