« Marvel vs Capcom 3 Launching February 15th 2011 »
Well, this is a bit sooner than I think most of us expected, but Capcom announced today that Marvel vs Capcom 3 will be launching February 15th, 2011! They also uploaded the official boxart for that game which you can check out below!
With the announcement of Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath as DLC characters, we can assume they have a heavy DLC plan in place, and this probably has a lot to do with this aggressive release date. What do you guys think? Happy to see the game come out this soon or would have rather waited a bit longer for more characters to be included out of the box? Hit us up in the comments and let us know!

Just a quick note that it looks like Europe will be getting the game just a few days later, February, 18th 2011.

Yeah tbh not sure why they didnt go with that poster they released a while back when the game was first announced.
it would have been beter if they gave the job to a japanese artist...
the Tatsunoko vs Capcom Art was fantastic it would suit this game too.

I think we all feel it seems early. I was thinking march? Then again we don't know how long the game has been in the works.
I still maintain that the DLC is a slap in the face to fighting game fans. This is not like a map pack, or a extra campaign or quests to play. Characters are core to a fighting game. i want to pay 59.99 to play all of MVC3 not 59.99 + 9.99 +9.99 + 9.99 to play all of MVC3. Now Capcom and Marvel they owe me nothing. Its their job to make money and they will make a truck load. My money will be in that damn truck. I just think its a bad idea to milk your fans this blatantly.
The box art is about as good as original Mega Man box art... go Capcom!

Box art does suck... but the early release will be cool, provided that extra chars aren't too expensive like the other posters are talking about. $10!?!? Geez!!

That's a completely arbitrary distinction. These do seem announced quite early, though, which upsets me a bit.
