« Some of the Characters that did not make it into Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars »

If you pre-ordered Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars in Japan, you also got a small flyer called TvC: Secret File.  A scan of it can be seen above.  Within you can see several pieces of content which did not make it into the final game.

  • Phoenix Wright
  • Ingrid
  • Ghouls and Ghosts stage
  • Komugi
  • Rollerblade Hero Muteking

If the game sells well enough, however, it may be possible to see some of these return as DLC. 

According to Jonathan Holmes of Destructoid:

"In a recent interview with Ryota Niitsuma, the producer of Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, I learned that Phoenix Wright (Ace Attorney) and Ingrid (Capcom Fighting Evolution) still may weasel their way into Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. According to Niitsuma-san, it will be in part up to Nintendo if these character are made available via DLC."

Seriously though, this is a very good game. It's one of the most fun fighters out there right now, and kudos to Capcom. Playing this makes me want to check out some of Tatsunoko's anime work because I'm digging the characters.
