« Super Street Fighter 4 Character Select Screen! »
Super Street Fighter 4 producer Yoshoniri Ono was on a live stream showing off the game. Some readers took screen captures of the stream. We finally, after all this time, have our first image of the character select screen! Also shown is the Main Menu and the Stage Select screen. Keep in mind that these could be placeholders, but it offers clues.

The character select screen is starting to look like Tekken or KOF 2002 or something. lol
From the looks of it, it seems that there may be TEN new characters then. I imagine that new dude is on the right, and the three slots on top are for 3rd strike characters. woot.
So there you have it 4 more characters!! I think the layout is fine. As long as you get a huge chunk of the character select artwork.
3 Third Strike Characters (Dudz, Bookie, Makz) then rumored Hakan I guess?

Am I the only one who doesn't like this character select screen? I don't know, but it feels like they're going a step backwards instead of forwards. It looks like ST's character select screen. 3rd Strike and SF4 both had vertical ones and now this is going back to the horizontal.

Personally reminds me of 3rd strike with the oval-shaped character slots. I like the horizontal layout, anything that is aesthetically different than SFIV is good, since I've been staring at those menus forever.

Yh its confirmed there is another 4 more characters. The blank section Has to be 3rd Strike becuase Ibukis kunia?... An if Ibuki is in they cant just have one alpha character in hopfully Alex or Dudley i think i heard Makato
yay we're gettin all the 3s chars! i was worried when we only had 2 slots of the
"rumored 8" left. we're calling it now. ibuki, makoto, dudley, and hakan. info leak ftw!

Actually it is more like a combination of the 3S and ST character select screens if you think about it. Red color scheme, circles around the characters portraits(3S), horizontal orientation, world map in the background(ST).
...am I the only one who thinks the Main Menu screen perfectly demonstrates the tension that has developed from the forbidden love between Ken and Ryu?

Actually Deejay isn't an unlockable. He is right above T.Hawk. There are 9 "new challenger" slots according to this screenshot, not 8.
Elena would be the perfect super street fighter 4 fit! her style of Capoeria & moves are hella tight! espescially her 1 legged backflip flashkick! and all her sspecials also Yang wud be great yang vs Fei long or Gen or Guy! or his lil bro Yun wit the blue hat and Dudley! ill be happy with those 3..............................p.s -capcom- pleassse take out that guy singing in the start of the game i use to sometimes get really bad headaches from him thanks if any capcom staff C's this
