Autoguard/Guard Point is an attribute given to certain moves that allows the player to guard while attacking. As the name implies, the action of guarding is automatic, so the player does not have to hold back (4) to take advantage of it.

 

A good example of Autoguard in action is Anji from Guilty Gear. He has many moves with the Autoguard property (Such as 6K and 5HS) that he can use to bait pokes. He can follow up with one of many attacks he can only do on a successful Autoguard.
