CHARGE BACK, FORWARD + PUNCH
Light punch version is good for moving in on the other player in that it travels very slowly across the screen, allowing Chun Li to follow behind it. Follow up numerous attacks such as Crouching Heavy Kick to catch the opponent as they figure out how to deal with the projectile.
The Medium Punch version is useful within block strings such as after a Standing Medium Punch.
HYAKURETSU KYAKU (LIGHTNING LEGS)
TAP KICK REPEATEDLY
The EX version of the Lightning Legs is what most Chun-Li players will use the most because you can follow up with her Ultra 1 in the corner and Ultra 2 anywhere on the screen making it an ideal special attack to use in combos.
It's worth noting you can combo into another EX Lightning Legs anywhere on the screen for added damage if you have the meter.
SPINNING BIRD KICK
CHARGE DOWN, UP + KICK
The EX version is great anti-air and is useful within combos -- you can even follow up with Ultra 1 near the corner. The Medium Kick version can be used in combos as well, but again, the EX version is the most useful. Keep in mind that many opponents can beat this attack on wake up by crossing up with an attack at the right angle.
It's also worth noting that this is Chun-Li's Armor Breaking move.
HAZAN SHU (OVERHEAD FLIP KICK)
HALF CIRCLE BACK + KICK
Avoids projectiles and is an overhead, but don't use this move too liberally against experienced players because she is susceptible to being hit with a Level 2 Focus Attack if they are expecting it.
You can combo into Crouching Light Kick which of course leads to EX Lightning Legs after the Hazanshu hits, so even if it is blocked, many times Crouching Light Kick is a good follow up to keep the pressure on.
SUPER - SENRETSUKYAKU
CHARGE BACK, FORWARD, BACK, FORWARD + KICK
This can be used as a match ending attack but overall it's best to save her EX meter. That said, she can reversal many attacks due to it having such a quick start up speed. It can also be comboed form Crouching Medium Kick, so it definitely has its uses in certain situations.
ULTRA 1 - HOUSENKA
CHARGE BACK, FORWARD, BACK, FORWARD + THREE KICKS
This is Chun-Li's "big damage" Ultra and she has a few ways to set it up. Not only does it pass through most projectiles, hitting the other player before they can recover, she can also combo into it when the opponent is near the corner, after an EX Spinning Bird or EX Lightning Legs.
That said, it's uses mid-screen are limited some many players will opt to go with Ultra 2 over this one.
ULTRA 2 - KIKOSHO
QUARTER CIRCLE FORWARD X2 + THREE PUNCHES
Chun Li's new Ultra improves her game immensely considering she can combo it anywhere on the screen from a number of attacks such as EX Lighting Legs or even and anti-air Down-Forward Light Kick.
The damage output is less on her second Ultra, but with it being so versatile it's typically the Ultra to choose in most match ups.
