Battle Fantasia is a "2.5d" fighting game developed by Arc System Works. The game is played in 2 dimensions but uses 3 dimensional polygonal character models edited to like like 2d sprites. The theme of the game is very RPG inspired from it's character design down to the health meter which like RPG's is displayed as HP. There are 12 characters to choose from which range from your typical shoto down to your really "creatively played character" in the tradition of other Arc System Works games like found in the Guilty Gear series. Play wise is a blend of aerial dashing of Guilty Gear, the footsies of Capcom v.s SNK series and parrying of SF3 series through Battle Fantasia's "Gachi" button system.
